I was commissioned by ad agency King George to develop a birthday cake using one or more Special T teas, as well as deliver a series of styled photographs.
The layer cake consisted of a cardamom sponge cake, a pear compote with Rose Amour tea and a mascarpone frosting flavored with Caramel Gourmand syrup. It was decorated with meringues, rose petals and decorative rose gold sugar, and photographed against a dark background - all contributing to an elegant and festive look.
